Simple Methods Of Removing Borders From Image

Dear Friends, hope all of you must be doing well. Today we shall be discussing the process of Removing Image Border in Default Blogger templates. This can be done in two ways. The first process is erasing image borders through template designer, whereas the second process deals with removing image border through manual process simply by code change.

Process A: Removing image border by using template designer:

     1. As usual login to blogger dashboard and the go Design Widget and select template designer.

    2. From there move to Advanced – images.

    3. Use drop down arrow to open color palette from border color option.

      4.  Select the transparent option by moving small box located at side of the bottom; (one point which is to be kept in concern regarding this is that if you are working on the black version provided by Awesome Inc template than you will have also to change background color also along with transparent. For this you will have to select transparent option placed at the down of the color palette.

      5. Once the above  mentioned steps  are performed click on the apply to blog option and save
  changes.

      6. To see the images without border in posts move to any of the post page.

Process B: Erasing image border the from new default blogger template by changing the template code:

     1. Repeat the first step as done in the above mentioned process i.e., login to blogger dashboard and then move to Design widget but instead of selecting template designer, move to Edit HTML option.

      2. Now take back up of your blogger  template.

      3. The following variable will appear above your template.

   <Variable name="image.border.color" description="Border Color" type="color" default="transparent"       value="#cccccc"/>

      4. Now you will be required to convert the value of border color into transparent mode as mentioned below.

   <Variable name="image.border.color" description="Border Color" type="color" default="transparent" value="transparent"/>

     5. Save the changes made in to your blogger  template.

     6. Move to any of the post and view the image, which now does not exist with border.

I am sure unlike our previous discussions you would have benefitted from this discussion also.

  1. I'm not sure if I like images with or without borders better, but it is good to know how to do it, in case I ever want to change it. Do you have any suggestions about which style (with borders or without) is more attractive, in general, to visitors?
